Independent Mental Health Advocacy - "IMHA" - 3 days - Rotherham


The aim of the course is to support the development of the practical skills and knowledge required to provide statutory Independent Mental Health Advocacy ("IMHA") as detailed within the Mental Health Act. The Mental Health’s act creation of the role of Independent Mental Health Advocate ("IMHA") requires advocates to understand how Mental Health Legislation affects patients who meet the qualifying criteria for this service, and how to respond to such referrals.

This training course will be held in Rotherham.
