Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy - 3 days - Rotherham

The Mental Capacity Act 2005 introduced the role of the Independent Mental Capacity Advocate ("IMCA"). In order to undertake the role of the IMCA the Department of Health expect the individual to be appropriately trained and qualified. This training will support learners to develop the underpinning knowledge required to provide Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy support within the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and to explore and reflect on real case examples.

This training will take place in Rotherham.
